A native of Pacific Grove, Justice first started taking music lessons when he was 6 years old, and continued to study music seriously during his time as a student. He took lessons in both piano and violin, in addition to playing in a variety of ensembles, both in school and out. Finally he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from CSU Monterey Bay. From there, he has gone on to establish himself as both a performer and educator.

As a working musician, Justice spends much of his time as an accompanist.

Since 2017 he has been on the staff of Monterey Peninsula College as the school's pianist, accompanying the choir and voice classes (plus the occasional musical theater production).

Starting with the 2024 season, he has also been named as the assistant director for the Choral Artists of Carmel, where he had already been serving as a rehearsal pianist, under the direction of Robin McKee Williams.

In sacred music, Justice has served as a pianist or organist for several different congregations. Since 2018 he has been the organist and director of music at St Philip's Lutheran Church of Carmel. He is also a frequent accompanist for Saturday masses at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Carmel Valley.

As an educator, Justice enjoys giving private lessons and collaborating with other student music programs in the area. In addition to his work with MPC, he teaches piano at Santa Catalina School, accompanies the choir of Pacific Grove Middle School, helps with the violin program at Olson Elementary in Marina, music-directs occasional shows at Ariel Theatrical in Salinas, and others.
